Astronomist, Linus Heartgreeves, whose mind sparks with anxiety, is deepened in an unfathomable grief since his fiancée, Lucia Destrellas, an Archeologist from the Scientasy Academy, has disappeared during an expedition. Cloistered away in his manor, he is desperately looking in the stars for a way to find her.
His loneliness is troubled when comes the imprudent Diana McBròwn, an Exploralist in charge of writing about him while looking for her own redemption.
She will soon enough be dragged in the mysteries haunting the place : delayed letters, spectral appearances… She is then joined by Santino Rossini, an old and close friend of the academic couple, who comes back gravitating around Linus.
These three stars will do their best to save a broken life's fragments, where love, intellectual elitism and feminine resistance coexist. But in a sky where the Goddesses of Creation and Dissolution are watching, time is running out because of a creeping shadow menacing to absorb all the remaining light...

THE WRITERS
Soulmates both in writing and in life, Alric and Jennifer Twice are the authors of the successful French fantasy saga «La Passeuse de Mots» («The Words Giver»), published by Hachette Romans.
Words reunited them in 2014 and their common vocation became an evidence : that of gathering all the souls craving for an escape, dreams and bounds.
The Words Giver is their first four-hand written book, an epic, poetic and hypersensitive saga born from two complementary writings that merged to form one only.
Today, they have several feathers in their inkwell. Between fantasy, dark academia, romantasy or even contemporary, they are not ready to close the doors to more worlds and universes.
In 2025, they share a whole new story : «Jusqu'au plus profond des Astres» («In the deepest of the stars»), published by Gulf Stream Éditeur. First of the two volumes with seizing atmosphere, the novel combines sciences, magic, and dark academia while wondering about loss, memory and personal quest.
